DUNKEL - Let darkness conquer the room

On the occasion of Dunkel, we find dark colors and broad brushes. Before and during the spectacular Refrakto performances in Musikhuset, you can immerse yourself in calm brushstrokes, lines and dark colors inspired by the current solo exhibition by Ruth Campau.

Campau explores our physical encounters with space and color at all scales. In many cases, she uses a broom instead of a brush and applies long, precise strokes to transparent acrylic sheets. On the one hand, the expression is industrial and cool, while on the other it is both sensual and vibrant - and always affects both us and the surroundings.

We mimic the processes in many sizes and techniques and gradually cover the windows more and more, so that we can let ourselves be enveloped by the darkness.

Along the way, students from the Southern Danish Academy of Music will provide live audio accompaniment to the work.
