2026 Women’s Ice Hockey World Championship in Esbjerg

Experience world-class women’s ice hockey as Esbjerg and Herning host the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship.

In Esbjerg, Group A will be played at Hockey Arena Esbjerg, where the USA, Czechia, Switzerland, Germany and Austria meet on the ice.
The USA arrive as reigning world and Olympic champions, setting the stage for intense matchups and major sporting experiences throughout the group stage.

Esbjerg hosts 10 group-stage matches and two quarter-finals, giving spectators the chance to see some of the world’s strongest women’s national teams compete for a place in the decisive phase of the tournament.

Matches in Esbjerg are played from 6 to 13 November 2026.
