Sauna infusion in Ribe – where warmth meets stories of the Wadden Sea

At Ro ved Vadehavet, sauna infusion near Ribe is about more than heat, steam and essential oils. At Skovly near Ribe, you are invited into the intimate setting of the Banja for a sensory experience where sauna infusions, natural scents and guided stories awaken the senses and introduce you to the tales, myths and distinctive nature around Ribe and the Wadden Sea.

Throughout the experience, we move between heat and cold. We cool off in the cold-water tub, feel the seabed of the Wadden Sea against our skin and bring seasonal flowers and herbs into the experience before returning to the heat for the next story.

Here, heat, scents and stories come together while the rest of the world fades into the background for a while.

Sauna infusion near Ribe

The experience lasts approximately two hours and includes four rounds in the Banja, each with different natural essential oils, scents and stories. Between rounds, you can cool off in the cold-water tub or under the outdoor showers. Two scrubs inspired by the Wadden Sea are also included. Tea, water, electrolytes, savoury snacks and fruit are served.

Practical information

The sauna infusion takes place at Skovly Ribes Frilufts Wellness, Bakkevej 54, 6760 Ribe. The price is DKK 250 per person. Bring swimwear, two towels and a water bottle, and aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start. See upcoming dates and register via the booking calendar.
