Sauna infusion evening - Dunkel
Sauna infusion evening is a special edition of sauna infusion that contains all the elements of Vadehavsgus, but at Dunkel we dim the lights a little more, enjoy the sounds and light from the flames in the wood-burning stove and let stories take us out onto the Vaderne under the starry sky.
The stories connect us to the starry sky through myths and legends about the Wadden Sea, constellations and celestial phenomena.*
When summer is coming to an end, the leaves are in reddish shades, the light changes tone, darkness embraces us earlier and the temperature drops, then the time is right to gather in the saunas.
At Skovly near Ribe, RO by the Wadden Sea is holding, among other things, the sauna experience “Vadehavsgus”, which is a sauna experience that includes several elements from the Wadden Sea.
The Wadden Sea gus takes place in the banya at Skovly, a sauna built based on old traditions, which creates a very special setting for going to the sauna. Here, the scent of wood, plants and essential oils prevails, the lights are dimmed and flicker with the glow of the flames.
The "Wadden Sea Gus" experience includes
4 rounds of sauna gus with essential oils of very high quality
2 Wadden Sea scrubs
Access to cold water tubs and showers
Fruit, salty snacks, juice and tea
Homemade balance fluid
Wadden Sea Gus is facilitated by Annaliva, who has created gus for 4 seasons, always with a focus on the participants. She takes great pride in creating security, presence and relaxation, so that you as a participant can go home with renewed light energy, in deep peace and relaxation.
Practical information:
Wadden Sea Gus takes place wearing swimwear.
Bring swimwear, 2 towels, possibly a drinking bottle, neoprene shoes/bathing shoes and a bathrobe.
Skovly at Ribe, Bakkevej 54, 6760 Ribe
It may be an advantage to change clothes from home, but there are also changing facilities at Skovly, and everyone rinses off under the shower before we go into the sauna. There is access to heated outdoor showers and toilet facilities.
We serve tea 15 minutes before we start, but out of consideration for any teams that are about to finish, please do not arrive earlier than 15 minutes before we start.

We open the doors 15 minutes before the start, please come and enjoy a cup of tea before we start with a short intro and then change. Everyone sits on a towel in the sauna and has rinsed off before we go into the sauna.

It is possible to change clothes on site in separate changing rooms, which have heated outdoor showers, and access to toilet facilities.
