In a corner of the amusement park in Hjerting is a lovely playground. The grass is dented by earthworks, which are connected by a series of wooden bridges.
In one of the ramparts is a large pipe that you can crawl through. In the space between two ramparts, a whale peeks out while seals frolic in the sandbox. The kids love to run on ramparts and bridges, and many fantasy games arise. For the older children, there is a high climbing net, which can challenge the motor skills or can be used as a place to relax with friends - at a safe distance from small siblings.
The playground's pavilion is large and can with good will accommodate 15-20 children with packed lunches. In the lighting system there is also a large petanque court and at the northern end a meandering stream and a drained lake - the "pot", which also encourages play and imagination.
