Join a nature guide from Vadehavscentret on a 10 km oyster safari in the Danish Wadden Sea National Park. This is the demanding version of the centre’s oyster tours and requires a good level of fitness. After an introduction at Vadehavscentret, waders are provided, and participants drive their own cars to the dike. From there, the tour continues across the seabed towards the mussel beds, where you can pick oysters by hand.
Along the way, the nature guide explains the oysters, the Wadden Sea’s natural environment and the distinctive landscape shaped by the tides. Birds, wind, water and wide-open views are central to the experience. The tour covers approximately 10 km and is for participants aged 14 and over.
The meeting point is Vadehavscentret, Okholmvej 5, 6760 Vester Vedsted. Bring your ticket digitally or as a printout. See individual dates and book via the Vadehavscentret website.
