Kvaglund Church
A modern church in the Esbjerg district is Kvaglund Church, the church was built in 1985 of rustic materials and is decorated with pictures by the sculptor Erik Heide.
Situated in one of the newer residential areas in the north-eastern part of Esbjerg, this new church was finished in 1985. Designed by a firm of architects in Århus, Friis and Moltke, and with artistic decorations by the sculptor, Erik Heide, from Mors, the church is characterized by rustic materials, including plaster-washed brick walls and granite. The strong symbolic language of the decorative features combines with the architecture in an harmonious æsthetic unity.
