Discovering the Wadden Sea with the Fisheries and Maritime Museum

The Fisheries and Maritime Museum invites the whole family to explore the Wadden Sea.

Wearing rubber boots or bare toes, we go on adventures in the Wadden Sea. Here you experience the special thing about the Wadden Sea, namely the tide. Fish, shrimp and crabs are caught with nets, and worms are dug up from the bottom. Maybe visit the mussel banks while we enjoy the sight of the migratory birds flying over us. The guide of the Fisheries and Maritime Museum tells about the Wadden Sea, the world heritage, the tide and all the animals that are caught.

Meeting place is on the steps of the Fisheries and Maritime Museum.

Remember clothes and shoes to match the weather.

Duration approx. 1.5 hours.
